PDI-G101 Sizing Formula

Point-of-Use (Hydromechanical)

D × GL × LF = GPM

D = Drainage load (GPM)

GL = Grease load factor (0.5-1.0)

LF = Loading factor (1.0-1.5)

Grease retention = GPM × 2 lbs

In-Ground (Gravity)

Gallons = GPM × RT × SF

RT = Retention time (typ. 30 min)

SF = Storage factor (typ. 1.5-2.0)
