Testing Standards & Procedures

RPZ (ASSE 1013)

  1. Close #2 shutoff, open test cocks
  2. Record CV#1 reading
  3. Open #2 shutoff slowly
  4. Record RV opening point
  5. Close #1 shutoff
  6. Record CV#2 reading

DC (ASSE 1015)

  1. Close #2 shutoff
  2. Bleed to atmosphere
  3. Record CV#1 reading
  4. Close #1 shutoff
  5. Open #2 shutoff
  6. Record CV#2 reading

PVB (ASSE 1020)

  1. Close downstream shutoff
  2. Open test cock
  3. Record air inlet opening
  4. Close test cock
  5. Attach gauge to body
  6. Record CV reading

Frequency

  • Initial: At installation
